Bisher werden derartige Röntgenfilme im allgemeinen auf einer für den Patienten angelegten, karteiartigen Karte gehaltert, die zu diesem Zweck neben Name und Anschrift des Patienten beispielsweise eine Vielzahl von Taschen zum Einschieben der Röntfenfilme oder spezielle Halterungen für die Röntgenfilme aufweist. Derartige allein zum Aufbewahren der Röntgenfilme dienende Karten nehmen jedoch zu ihrer Unterbringung bei der Vielzahl der in einer zahnärztlichen Praxis zu erstellenden Röntgenaufnahmen relativ viel Platz in Anspruch. Der neuerungsgemäße Halter ist gekennzeichnet durch einen mit Bezug auf seine Länge und Breite etwa der Länge und Breite eines Zahnröntgenfilmes entsprechenden schlaufenartigen Teil und einen sich daran anschließenden, als Handhabe und zur Beschriftung dienenden flachen Teil. Auf der sich an die Schlaufe anschließenden flachen Handhabe wird durch Beschriftung vermerkt, für welche !Orienten die Röntgenaufnahmen erstellt worden sind. Es ist zweckmäßig, die Röntgenfilme mit fortlaufenden Nummern und der jeweiligen Jahreszahl zu beschriften. Mit Beginn eines neuen Jahres fangen die Nummern wieder mit der Zahl "1" an. Je Io Röntgenaufnahmen werden in einer Schlaufe untergebracht, und deren Handhabe wird mit der jeweils zuerst beginnenden Fiinummer beschriftet. So bedeutet es, daß der Halter mit der Nummer 121/65 die Röntgenfilme der Nummern 121-13o ^es Jahres 1965 enthält. Die Nummern der einzelnen Röntgenfilme werden außerdem auf den Karteikarten der betreffenden Patienten und in einem Röntgentagebuch vermerkt.
