Hierfür ist um die Spangeneinlage ein Streifen aus Milanesegeflecht etwa mit doppelter Breite gelegt und verpreßt, wobei die ineinandergreifende Fuge des Geflechts am fertigen Spangenteil innen liegt. Hierdurch wird einr flache Feterspange erreicht, welche sich - wie bei Milanesegeflecht bekannt - auf der Oberseite in vielen Variationen schmucktechnisch gestalten läßt.
