Abstract

An alkylbenzotriazole, in combination with mercaptobenzotriazole, tolyltriazole, benzotriazole and/or 1-phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole, is used to inhibit the corrosion of metallic surfaces, particularly copper surfaces, in contact with an aqueous system. Systems and compositions are also claimed.
