A container according to the invention comprises a body 2, a plug 4 made from absorbent material disposed in the said body, a valve 5 for drawing off gas only in the gaseous phase, a supply tube 6 disposed in the opening 4a of the plug 4, a chimney 7 forming an internal facing of the opening 4a, and a textile sheet (8) surrounding and enveloping the chimney 7. The invention is applied in particular to disposable cartridges of liquified petroleum gas such as butane.
