Sheet pile with rolled or tightly wound lock parts and
a device for preventing the locks from popping out
The invention relates to a sheet pile with rolled-on or tightly drawn-on lock parts
and means for preventing the locks from popping out.
It is known that the locks of iron sheet piles on impact
Jump on large obstacles or by combining several small obstacles
can. Since such jumping out is often not noticed during ramming and
furthermore, the closing of the gaps caused by the jumping off during excavation
causes annoying work interruptions and high costs, there is a need to
to counteract this expression from the start. Experience teaches that carrion jumping
always starts at the lower end of the pile to be driven, because this is due to the earth pressure
a strong local stress takes place on train.
Fig. i zeigt einen Teil zweier Bohlen mit angewalzten
Fig. 3 zeigt eine

which prevents the locks from jumping out in a simple manner and which
characterized in that the claw-shaped part of the sheet pile interlock is essentially
protrudes over the lower edge of the plank. When hitting a single-walled plank
on an obstacle when ramming wedge-shaped compensating planks, their lower end
wider than the upper one, or when ramming double-walled box planks
the lower ends of the locks are always subjected to high tensile loads. This strong local
According to the invention, loading is achieved by distributing the tensile forces over a longer period of time.
Route avoided. The transition from the above lock piece to the plank must be proportionate
be weak so that the protruding end to the last rammed
Bohle can snuggle up and not only the point of application of the tensile force is shifted.
In the case of planks with special lock irons, only the claw of the one to be rammed jumps

raised claw has not yet been observed. It is therefore sufficient for sheet piles
to make these a little longer with special lock irons: in the drawing are
