Bisher war es nicht möglich gewesen, Feindrähte aus Leichtmetall, z. B. aus Aluminium, Aluminiumlegierungen oder Magnesium, elektrolytisch zu oxydieren, da die dünnen Drähte die für die Behandlung erforderlichen Stromstärken nicht vertrugen und durch die ,auftretende große Erwärmung zerstört wurden.Process for the electrolytic oxidation of fine wires.
