External heater for superheated steam and gas turbines The invention

Work equipment is poorly heated when warming up the machine. That's the way it is with one
known proposal the heat supply in contrast to the invention only an indirect,
by heating coils first of all to heat the air lying between the housing and the casing

Here, as a result of the necessary temperature gradient, the heating means must be raised

Invention is deliberately limited to the necessary compensation in the heat supply
and solves this task-in. direct way by brushing with the heating medium

which can only be carried out 'with a practically straight line' delimitation of the housing,

aufzuheizen. In contrast, can. the heating device according to the invention in a simple
and controlled in a deliberate way and is subject to randomness.
Also, because only a few heating ducts are required, there is a significant simplification
achieved compared to the known external heating devices. Still the outer,
area covered by the heating medium. compared to those facing the work equipment
Areas may be smaller, but is just as good a heating of
possible outside because the pressure in this heating channel can be selected to be higher than
the pressure inside the turbine during heating: Dadure # h becomes the heat gradient
enlarged and achieved an increased supply of heat. It will always be possible
all the places that also need an external supply of heat, accordingly
to heat up.

Betrieb kommt.Since it is not necessary in and of itself, the work equipment with the full
Sending pressure through these heaters becomes the flow through these heating channels
set to a desired pressure. This: The easiest way to do this is through a
corresponding aperture at the inlet of the heating medium on the one hand and at the outlet of the same
on the other hand. These diaphragms can be adjustable or even through pressure limiters
be replaced. A temperature controller can also be used to limit heating
provided that the heating medium supply when the desired temperature is reached
shuts off automatically. The schematic arrangement of a strand of such a
Heating device is shown in FIG. 3. is the heating channel, 8 the aperture
the inlet side, 9 the one on the outlet side, io the temperature controller,
ii the terminating element for the heating means controlled by this. 12 is the manual valve
for commissioning the heating device. It is of course not necessary for everyone
to provide such a manual valve 12 for itself, but rather. it is sufficient,
the feeding of the individual strands through the mentioned diaphragms according to the purpose
and switch on the heating by opening a single valve. as well
it is possible to use the heater z. B. to the main shut-off valve of the turbine
to be connected so that the heating device with the heating of the turbine interior in
Operation is coming.
bringt. It is useful to arrange the individual heating lines so that the
individual housing parts remain separable for themselves. It is also obvious
To arrange the inlet and outlet of the heating medium so that a possible adjustment
the heating to the expected operating conditions takes place and that at the same time; also
the heating does not warp the housing due to unequal heating
brings.
To avoid overstretching the connecting screws during heating
To prevent the flanges, the screws are advantageously used as studs
screwed into one or the other part of the housing, so that it gets through as quickly as possible
the intimate contact with being heated up. In addition, the specific elongation
of the screw material
by extending the screw shaft
be diminished. It is advantageous if the shaft is at most the same thickness
designed to be the same as the core diameter in order to keep the expansion away from the thread itself.
If necessary, single or all screws can also be used with the same heating device
be heated by appropriate connections.
