Description

Gleichzeitiges Flammensichermachen und Färben von Papier und Textilstogen Es ist bekannt, mit Ammoniumsalzen, insbesondere phosphorsaurem Ammoniak, Papier oder .Textilstoffe zu behandeln, um sie möglichst unbrennbar zu machen. Aus verschiedenen, teils technischen, teils wirtschaftlichen Gründen, ist es notwendig, die Ammoniumsalze gleich der Farblösung bzw. -stispension zuzusetzen, mit welcher das Papier bzw. die Gewebe gefärbt werden 'sollen. Das stößt aber dort auf Schwierigkeiten, wo den Farbbrühen Leim zugesetzt werden muß. Der Leim wird nämlich durch Ammoniumsalze, insbesondere phosphorsaures Ammoniak, großenteils aus sziner Lösung ausgeschieden, wobei .er die Farbstoffe in mehr oder weniger großem Umfange mitreißt. Überraschenderweise hat es sich gezeigt, daß man diesen Aussalzvorgang dadurch verhindern kann, daß man dem Flammschutzsalz oder der Farbbrühe amorphes oder kristallisiertes Natriumpolyphosphat zusetzt, das durch ein Molarverhältnis von h?a.,O zu P, > 05 zwischen 2 : i und i : i gekennzeichnet ist, wie Na12Pio031, Nao P4 O13, Na5 P3 Olo oder eine Mischung solcher Salze (s. auch G m e 1 i n - I% r a u t h , B. Auflage, System Nr. 31, Band Natrium 1c328, S.924-25). Die flockungsverhindernde Wirkung des Polyphosphates ist so groß, daß man dem flammschützenden Salz außerdem noch pilz- und bakterienhemmende Stoffe, wie Borax oder Natriumfluorid, zusetzen kann.
