Gebr. Böhler & Co. Akt.-Ges. in Berlin*) Mit Aluminium und Titan legierte Stahlelektrode für LichtbogenschweißungGebr. Böhler & Co. Akt.-Ges. in Berlin*) Steel electrode alloyed with aluminum and titanium for arc welding

Zusatz zum Patent 603 607 Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 22. Dezember 1931 abAddition to patent 603 607 Patented in the German Empire on December 22, 1931

Das Hauptpatent hat angefangen am 1. August 1928 Tag der Bekanntmachung über die Erteilung des Patents: 30. März 1939The main patent started on August 1, 1928 Date of publication of the patent grant: March 30, 1939

In patent 603 607 there is an aluminum additive steel electrode for arc welding described, which is alloyed with an addition of aluminum in the amount of 0.1 to 1.50 / 0 of its steel weight. According to claim 2 of this patent, there is an addition of titanium in addition to aluminum in the amount of 0.1 to 1.70 / 0. A series of experiments has now shown that the titanium alloy welding, wires even an addition of aluminum to a very small extent is advantageous, and that even with aluminum contents of only 0.01 to 0.10 / 0 of the steel weight the favorable one Interaction with the Titan occurs.
