Zweck der Verbindung ist, eine Schlauch^ ; kupplung. herzustellen, durch welche in einfacher und wirksamer Weise Schlauchlängen im Augenblick ge- und entkuppelt' werden können. Die Kupplung besteht aus einem inneren Und äufseren Theil; der äufsere Theil ist mit einer Umfangsnuth versehen, -welche einen beweglichen Ring und unter Wirkung von Federn stehende Fallen enthält, die an dem äufseren Theil drehbar angebracht sind, um in eine Ringnuth des inneren Theiles treten zu können. Diese Fallen sind durch Glieder, mit dem Ring des äufseren Theiles verbunden, so dafs durch Drehung des Ringes die Fallen zurückgezogen und der innere Theil freigegeben werden kann. Der äufsere Theil Ä der Kupplung ist-nach zwei Durchmessern ausgebohrt;-die Bohrungen sind: durch einen konischen Theil α und eine Schulter b verbunden. Eine :elastische Packung c legt sich auf die:Schulter b. Der weitere Theil des äufseren Kuppluhgstheiles A ist mit einem Ring d versehen, ■der einen Theil der Kupplung bildet; ein Ring d 1 wird auf die Kupplung aufgeschraubt·. Zwischen beiden Ringen d und J1 bleibt eine Nuth e, in welcher der Ring B Platz findet. ::: An den gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Theiles A und gegenüber der. Nuth e ..sind; Aussparungen /. vorgesehen ,in welchen die Fallen g g1 drehbar angebracht sind, welche durch Spiralfedern h nach vorn gedrückt werden. Die Bewegung jeder Falle wird nach aufsen durch ein Glied I begrenzt, welches in einer Aussparung j des Ringes B gelenkig an-■■'■ gebracht und ebenso mit dem freien Ende der Falle ^verbunden ist.
