Die nickel- bezw. kupfernickelplattirten Eisenbleche und Abfälle werden in einer Retorte bis zur anfangenden Glühhitze erhitzt und sodann der zur Schwefelung des Nickels bezw. des Nickelkupfers nöthige Schwefel hinzugefügt. Die Retorte wird nun luftdicht verschlossen und die Bleche oder Abfälle durchglühen gelassen. Der Schwefel verbindet sich mit dem Metall und die aufgewalzte Nickelbezw. Nickelkupfer-Schicht läfst sich nach dem Erkalten mittelst Hämmern leicht entfernen.The nickel respectively. copper-nickel-plated iron sheets and scraps are placed in a retort heated to the incipient glowing heat and then the sulphurisation of the nickel bezw. sulfur added to the nickel-copper.
