Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine ganz neue und eigenthümliche Lagerung für die tongebenden Körper in Musikwerken, bei denen eine diese Theile gegen äufsere Einflüsse schützende Lagerung wünschenswerth bezw. ein unmittelbares Aufliegen derselben auf Holz, Metall oder dergleichen zu vermeiden ist. Bisher wurden bei Musikwerken die tongebenden Körper, um die Tonschwingungen derselben nicht zu beeinträchtigen, nicht unmittelbar mit Holz oder Metall in Berührung gebracht, sondern zwischen Wollstoff, Filz oder dergleichen gelagert. Diese Art der Lagerung war immerhin noch eine mangelhafte, weil die Berührungsflächen zu grofs und die Elasticität des Wollstoffes nicht genügend war, um den Schwingungen keinen Widerstand zu bieten. Durch die vorliegende Erfindung wird nun die Berührungsfläche der tongebenden Körper mit ihrer Lagerung auf ein Kleinstes beschränkt und gleichzeitig für letztere ein Stoff angewendet, der die geeignetste Elasticität besitzt. Hierdurch werden vollständig reine und unbeeinträchtigte Töne erzielt, da die die Töne gebenden Theile fast_N vollständig frei schweben. Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist in Fig. ι die Lagerung für Platten gezeigt, während Fig. 2 und 3 die eigentliche Lagerungsvorrichtung darstellen. Die Lagerungsvorrichtung besteht aus einer Unterlage α und einer Ueberlage a¹, welche aus Gummi oder einem gleich elastischen Material hergestellt und in einer zweckentsprechenden Weise mit dem eigentlichen Lager für die Platten, Glocken u. s. w., hier mit dem Rahmen c verbunden sind. Auf der Unterlage α befinden sich in entsprechenden Zwischenräumen, mit der letzteren aus einem Stück gebildet oder in irgend einer anderen Weise verbunden, kleine cylindrisch oder sonstwie geformte Ansätze oder Nocken d und zwischen je zwei Nocken zwei oder mehr kleine Spitzen e, welche zweckmäfsig ebenfalls mit der Unterlage α aus einem Stück gebildet sind. Die Nocken d sind dazu bestimmt, die Platten, Glocken u. s. w. gegen seitliche Verschiebung zu sichern, indem entweder die letzteren zwischen je zwei solcher Nocken liegen oder ein solcher Nocken in ein Loch in der Platte hineinragt, während die kleinen Spitzen e als Unterlage dienen und eine denkbar geringe Berührungsfläche geben. An der Ueberlage a^l sind ebenfalls kleine Spitzen e¹ angeordnet, welche den Spitzen e der Unterlage gegenüberstehen. Zwischen den Spitzen der Unterlage und der Ueberlage ruhen die Platten, Glocken oder dergleichen und sind so gegen unbeabsichtigte Verschiebung vollständig gesichert.
