Produkten vermindert.Process for the pressure hydrogenation of coal extracts It is known that
Charcoal extracts are a particularly suitable starting material for the production of
oils, such as gasolines, diesel oils and lubricating oils, by pressure hydrogenation.
In the extraction of these oils one generally works in such a way that one works out

gewonnen.. Das Verdünnungsmittel kann im Kreislauf geführt werden. The extracts to be processed according to the present invention are prepared in a known manner from finely ground hard coal, lignite or peat with the aid of a suitable extraction agent, for example tetrahydronaphthalene or mixtures of this substance with phenols, e.g. B. cresols or suitable middle oil fractions, at temperatures of 25o to 470 ', expediently 400 to 46o', advantageously with the addition of catalysts, optionally in the presence of a little hydrogen, prepared under pressure. The extract solution obtained in this way is then filtered off from the undissolved matter and a diluent boiling higher than the extractant, for example a tar fraction such as medium oil or heavy oil or a mixture of both, is added to the filtrate. The extractant is then distilled off and the residue, ie the extract dissolved in the diluent, optionally after further addition of high-boiling oils, is hydrogenated in a known manner at 300 to 500 'in the presence of catalysts with hydrogen under a pressure of 100 to 100 oats. Depending on the selected reaction conditions and the starting material, petrol, medium oil, heavy oil, diesel oil, heating oil or lubricating oil and paraffin are obtained as products. The diluent can be circulated.

The resulting product is freed from undissolved material by filtration. The filtrate is mixed with an equal amount of a hard coal heavy oil, which contains only 15% below 325 'boiling components, and the mixture is distilled to 26o' ( measured in the liquid), with tetrahydronaphthalene, cresol and naphthalene formed during the extraction distilling off . The extract is then hydrogenated in the heavy oil solution at 600at with the addition of 0.060,! O tin oxalate and 0.9% ammonium chloride at a temperature of 42 o '. The throughput is 0.261 g of extract per liter of catalyst space and hour. For every 100 parts of extract, 14 parts of gaseous hydrocarbons and 86 parts of a liquid product containing 6 parts of gasoline for operating diesel engines and fuel are obtained.
