The invention relates to belt drives, consisting of a V-grooved one
small and one smooth, large disk. It consists in that on the small disc
Wedge grooves moved together in a manner known per se except for knife-like webs that remain standing
are, so that also known cuts in the belt by the fact that they are the same
Distance like the webs have a comb-like grip in the latter, creating a previously
not achieved high translation with the help of increased surface friction of a flexible
Flat belt is achievable.
All diese Getriebe
herabsetzen. There are pulley gears known whose '5 small pulleys are provided with V-grooves, while the large pulleys are smooth. It is also known to move the V-grooves on the small disk together except for knife-like webs and to provide a flat belt with ao incisions. All of these transmissions have disadvantages that reduce the efficiency and reduce the applicability of belt drives.
. Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel
der Erfindung. With the means up to now it was not possible, with the smallest disc spacing, i.e. H.
extremely high gear ratios with the smallest circumferential angle and the smallest pulley diameter
to generate, since these conditions, which are frequently set in themselves, contradict each other.
The invention provides the means
To be able to use belt drive already, Avo one so far because of the unfavorable conditions
could not, but had to resort to other means of transmission. . The drawing shows an embodiment
the invention.

kleiner Durchmesser der kleinen Scheibe verwendet werden kann.α is the small pulley of a belt drive. Annular grooves & are provided over its entire width, the end faces C of which on both sides are in one for V-belts. known angle d are directed to each other. Thus, each two adjacent surfaces c of the annular grooves result in sharp edges e, which can optionally be provided with small teeth / in order to increase the resistance to grinding of the belt g until full entrainment occurs; At the same time, the teeth / serve to make or deepen the incisions in the belt g if necessary, as long as the belt should slip; undoubtedly, they also increase entrainment. The two ends h are larger in diameter in order to prevent the belt from running off and to keep the belt with its incisions i in correspondence with the edges e. The belt is provided with longitudinal cuts i in a manner known per se, but only in such a way that the connection is preserved and the belt g acts as a flat belt on the large, smooth pulley and the individual parts do not overturn. The mode of operation is as follows: The small pulley of a belt drive acts as a V-belt pulley, in that the sharp edges e and the surfaces c engage in corresponding longitudinal sections of the belt, whereby an increased friction can still be generated by the small teeth f until full entrainment takes place. By moving the V-grooves known per se together on stationary knife-like webs, the advantages of both the flat belt and the V-belt are combined in one type of belt, so that even with the smallest circumferential angle, a particularly small diameter of the small pulley is used in view of the small thickness of the flat belt can.
