Description
Process for the production of grain veneers from raw or chemical pretreated, colored or undyed and supple wood veneers, The artificial veneers are layered according to known methods Gluing raw or pre-treated, colored or undyed veneer sheets of any kind Thickness, shape and size and pressing between dies with subsequent cutting through made in any direction. In addition to the dyeing of the raw veneers, it is also known before or after pressing or cutting, the use of mica or bronzes to achieve metallic shimmering spots on the surface.
B. im Vogelaugenahorn, in Thuya u. a. The invention represents a substantial simplification and improvement the existing production methods. It enables the production of grain veneers, as it could not be achieved by the known methods. -The real ones with many Types of wood on the cut surface of the veneer visible indentations, such as eyes, Rings, crater-like structures and spots of a similar kind are mostly the result of with cut wild shoots, tubers, growths and the like that cut right through the wood masses grow, e.g. B. in bird's eye maple, in Thuya and others. These very beautiful ones and looking for grains not only on the surface, for example by coloring or Gluing on, but going through the whole wood mass to produce artificially According to the invention, the following process is used: those coated with glue in a known manner or wood veneers which have been provided with any other binding agent and made supple are made with smaller or larger objects made from any type of wood sprinkled or covered, which are then glued and pressed together. These wooden objects can be pearls, balls, stars, discs, rings, sticks, rollers, bulbs or also shapeless structures such as wood dust, powder, sawdust, sawdust, wood shavings and the like. like., be. All bodies mentioned can be colored or undyed in any type of wood, raw or specially pretreated in cut, divided, broken, mashed, perforated or undamaged condition. These bodies become on the glued or supple veneers before stacking them applied. Under the pressure, the litter is removed from glue or another Binder enveloped and pressed together or assembled into a block of any thickness. If this is cut, peeled, sawn in any direction after completion or otherwise cut through, the edges and surfaces of the. with averaged Balls, rings, rollers and the like show the same grain drawings on the surface as in the noble types of wood mentioned above, as well as cloudy, soft drawings and transitions.
Man erzeugt z. The insertion of the litter wood objects can be done by hand or by mechanical means Ways happen. Any veneer can be sprinkled or as required every second, third, etc. alternating at will, depending on the grain pattern to be achieved. One generates z. B. by sprinkling wooden beads in ordinary maple a dem Bird's eye maple is the same material.
