Ultraviolet absorbing light filter is the subject of the invention
an ultraviolet absorbing light filter that acts as a single effective ingredient
or contains a mixture of cyanines, consisting of two benzoxazole rings, one. Benzoxazole
and a benzothiazole ring, a benzoxazole and a thiazoline ring or a benzothiazole
and a thiazoline ring, which is in the 2, 2-position to the nitrogen atom with a carbon atom
connected exist.
Nitrobenzol, Naphthalin, Anthracen u. a.
Man wählte in diesem Fall Sensibilisierungsfarbstoffe
The cyanines mentioned can be prepared by known methods.
The compounds are colorless or slightly yellow in color. There are already
Substances have been proposed for ultraviolet absorption, such as esculin,
Nitrobenzene, naphthalene, anthracene and others. However, these known substances have
no sharply defined absorption in the ultraviolet. In contrast, the above show
enumerated dyes an intense and sharply delimited selective absorption
in ultraviolet and extreme violet areas. This is particularly due to this
to express that with a relatively large change in concentration, only one proportionately
slight change in the absorption area occurs. Hence it is proportionate with
small amounts of these substances make it possible to sharply delimit the absorption area.
Another advance is that depending on the composition of the dyes
the absorption in different areas of the ultraviolet and violet area
can embarrass. Furthermore, filter layers containing cyanine dyes are connected
known with photosensitive layers. Sensitizing dyes were chosen in this case
as filter materials, because these do not adversely affect the properties of the emulsion.
