Der vorliegende Sitzstock besitzt anstatt des bisher gebräuchlichen steifen Holzsitzes einen federnd gelagerten Sitz, derart, dafs letzterer von einer in dem hohlen Schaft α angeordneten Spiralfeder 5 getragen wird. Vermöge dieser Einrichtung soll eine Ermüdung beim Ansitz ausgeschlossen sein. Der federnde Sitz gestattet auch eine freiere Bewegung, soweit eine solche bei den unvorhergesehenen Zwischenfällen beim Ansitz nothwendig erscheint. Ferner ist bei diesem Sitzstock das Abbrechen der Spitze bezw. ein Zusammenbrechen des Stuhles möglichst ausgeschlossen.The present seat stick has, instead of the previously customary rigid wooden seat, a resiliently mounted seat, in such a way that the latter is supported by a spiral spring 5 arranged in the hollow shaft α. Bei bisher bekannten Jagdstühlen besteht der Stuhl aus drei Theilen: 1. dem Sitz, 2. dem Stock und 3. der Spitze. Bei diesen Stühlen kommt es vor, dafs entweder der Stuhl in der Mitte zusammenbricht, oder die Spitze durch Abfaulen des Holzes abbricht. Stürzt der Stuhl beim Gebrauch zusammen oder bricht die Spitze ab, so bringt sich der Jäger mit dem gespannten Gewehr in Lebensgefahr. Derartige Zufälle sind bei dem Gebrauch des vorliegenden Sitzstockes bezw. Jagdstuhles dadurch unmöglich gemacht, dafs der Stuhl nicht mehr aus drei, sondern nur aus zwei Theilen, und zwar aus dem Sitz und dem unten zugespitzten Stuhlrohrschaft α besteht.In previously known hunting chairs, the chair consists of three parts: 1. the seat, 2. the stick, and 3. the top.
