In der Photographic und Malerei ist man oft eines begrenzenden Hintergrundes benöthigt. Leicht ist solcher im Atelier oder in der eigenen Behausung anzubringen, schwierig jedoch aufserhalb, da man die grofsen bespannten Holzrahmen ihrer schwerfälligen Form und verhältnifsmäfsig hohen Gewichtes halber nicht leicht transportiren kann.In photography and painting one often needs a limiting background. Vorliegende Erfindung beseitigt diesen Mangel durch Anordnung eines zusammenlegbaren Rahmens, welcher mit dem zu verwendenden Stoff an Ort und Stelle überspannt wird.The present invention overcomes this deficiency by providing a collapsible Frame, which is spanned with the fabric to be used on the spot.

Von den vier Füfsen k, welche sich ebenfalls um c drehen, wird das ganze Gestell getragen. Als eigentlicher Hintergrund ist ein weicher WoIl- oder Seidenstoff /, welcher keine harten Kniffe bekommt, verwendbar. Derselbe ist an allen Seiten umgeschlagen, und in diesen Saum ist ein zusammenlegbarer Draht eingelegt. Durch die an den Leisten des Rahmens befestigten Spannschrauben g, Fig. 4, wird die durch den Draht gebildete Wulst des Stoffes ergriffen und der Stoff gespannt.The lower bar b is connected to the side bars α α in an articulated manner by means of the hinges c. Sind beide Seitenleisten auf diese Weise zusammengelegt, so hat man nur noch nöthig, den Riegel e zu lösen und den Untertheil b zusammenzulegen, und das Gestell hat die in Fig. 3 in Oberansicht gezeigte Form erhalten. Der Stoff / kann vortheilhaft in die zwischen den Seitenleisten des zusammengeklappten Gestells sich bildende Höhlung untergebracht werden.
