Description
Protective circuit for the selective display or shutdown of an earth fault For selective display or disconnection of power generators or converters subject to earth faults facilities are already known which are influenced by the earth fault current. Man has either the current occurring in the earth fault connection of the zero point displayed or in the connection line of the device to be monitored cumulative moderate asymmetry current occurring with the network. To increase the selectivity both streams have already been compared with each other and only when they occur a difference of the earth fault current flowing into and out of the system part brought the device to respond. The task here is the establishment To be built so sensitively that even very small currents result in actuation to have. In order to increase the sensitivity, the earth fault voltage is usually also drawn approaches and forms the display relay according to the wattmeter principle.
A far more sensitive device where the relay only has one single coil are required, is achieved according to the invention in that parallel to the secondary windings provided for the generation of the earth fault current Converters equipped with a magnetic core and a secondary winding are, their number of turns and a fraction of the resistance of the connected The resistance of the circuit is dimensioned so that the secondary ampere-turns cause practically no demagnetizing effects, with these on resonance coordinated capacities are arranged. By choosing the number of turns and the Resistance .der secondary converter windings are when only small Earth fault currents already have relatively high voltages in the secondary winding, which can be verified in the connected relay circuit. As a relay must then such a high sensitivity and low power can be used so the voltage in the secondary winding does not collapse. So the high sensitivity does not lead to false tripping, according to the invention are those relating to the voltage coils capacitances connected in parallel are provided not only the reactive power is compensated, but the influence of the fundamental wave is increased compared to the influence of the harmonics, which would otherwise lead to an unwanted response could lead. The resistance of the connected circuit can be more than a thousand times of the resistance of the secondary windings of the current transformers. The number of turns ratio the primary to the secondary Windings will be as small as possible chosen, at least smaller than i: Zoo. Since the magnetic stress of the axtiger Converter as a result of the disappearance of the dismantling effect of the secondary l @ riIpc: = turns is very small, the Qüi'.f -` can cut the iron circle can be chosen relatively low, especially when the material iron is high Permeability, such as permalloy, mumetal or the like. Are provided.
So that if short circuits or double earth faults occur, the The overvoltages generated by the voltage coils do not have any harmful effects As a result, it is advisable to have one of the known L overvoltage fuses parallel to the coils to be provided, which can consist of a spark gap or a glow tube or the like.
