Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von farblosen (weißen) Zementen In dem Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von farblosen (weißen) Zementen beschrieben, und zwar soll nach dem in jener Patentschrift offenbarten Vorschlag der Klinker unmittelbar aus der heißesten Zone der Brennvorrichtung in eine Kühlvorrichtung übergeführt werden, in welcher das gebrannte Gut unter Anwendung besonderer Kühlmittel und unter der Fernhaltung von Luft oder anderen Gasen mit größerem Sauerstoffgehalt eine rasche Abkühlung erfährt. Es wurde nun festgestellt, daß die nachteiligen Folgen, die sich aus den nicht ganz vermeidlichen betrieblichen Unregelmäßigkeiten bei diesem Verfahren bezüglich der Färbung des Produktes noch ergeben können, weitestgehend durch Zusatz von Flußspat oder Chlorcalcium oder durch Zusatz eines Gemisches beider Stoffe hintangehalten werden können. Die Erfindung wird praktisch so ausgeführt, daß den Ausgangsstoffen die genannten Zuschläge in einer Menge von 2 bis 6 °/o vor dem Brennprozeß zugegeben werden. Die Anwendung von Flußspat und Chlorcalcium als Sintermittel ist bereits bekannt.
