Wasser usw. auszeichnen.Device for the production of motor fuels The subject of
The invention is a device for the thermal treatment of mixtures of alcohols
and hydrocarbons for the production of engine fuels that use both the
simple mixtures as well as the products of a fractional distillation
have a higher calorific value and are more miscible with alcohol,
Water etc.
According to the drawing, the subject of the invention consists of an expedient
made of steel tubular boiler T of z. B. q., 50 m length, 70o mm diameter
and 25 mm thick. The boiler has perforated discs 3 or similar inside
Organs made of iron, copper, or some other suitable material that absorb heat from
the walls of the kettle inside and ensure even and rapid heating
of the vapors to be treated and too large temperature jumps between

that is already heated to the required temperature. At the far end
of the tube or on the rear cover i there is a trigger nozzle 2 for the
pitch and tar residues resulting from the heat treatment of the reaction mixture.
The boiler also has a pressure gauge 4 and a pyrometer 5. The starting materials
for the heat treatment are expediently compressed in a compressor 6 and
through the pipe 7a provided with a nozzle 7 into the under ordinary or under
A reaction space T standing at a very low positive pressure is introduced and atomized.
A non-return valve prevents the starting materials from flashing back into the line
7a or in the compressor 6. The vapors converted into fuel in the cylinder T
enter the condenser g. From there the finished product is deducted via i o.
I I is a safety valve for the reaction vessel.
The heating of the reaction vessel to temperatures of 25o to 700 °
is carried out in any way.
