Description

Das übliche Pressen der Zigarren vor dem Einpacken in die Kisten erfolgt in der Regel mittels sog. Preßschieber, die im wesentlichen aus einem Boden, zwei Seitenteilen und einem Deckel bestehen. Die Seitenteile sind gegeneinander und der Boden in der Höhe verstellbar. Diese Preßschieber werden mit Zigarren gefüllt und dann meist in größerer Anzahl in die Presse eingeführt. Um nun jeweils die gleichen Mengen Zigarren in dem Preßschieber zu haben und so bei jeder Pressung die gleichen Formen und Abmessungen der einzelnen Zigarren zu erhalten, stellt man jeweils Seitenteile und Deckel des Schiebers so ein, daß der von ihnen umschlossene Raum von der bestimmten Anzahl der zu pressenden Zigarren ausgefüllt wird. Die Bestimmung des Raumes, der für die gewisse Anzahl der Zigarren in zusammengepreßtem Zustande erforderlich ist, d. h. also der Rauminhalt der Zigarrenkisten, wird durch gesonderte Vorrichtungen zuvor bestimmt. Die Einstellung von Seitenteilen und Boden des Schiebers wurde· bisher von Hand vorgenommen. Es haben sich aber dabei in doppelter Hinsicht Anstände ergeben.
