Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Pigmentfarben Es wurde gefunden, daß man Pigmentfarben von sehr wertvollen Eigenschaften erhalten kann, wenn man reversible kolloidale Aluminiumsilicate von der Art reversibler Wilkinite und Bentonite mit organischen oder anorganischen Farbstoffen, insbesondere Pigmentfarbstoffen, in Gegenwart von Wasser innig vermischt und trocknet. Im Falle der Anwendung von Pigmentfarbstoffen erfolgt das Mischen beispielsweise durch mechanische Behandlung in der Farbmühle oder in einer Knetmaschine oder in einer Kugelmühle oder auf dem Dreiwalzenstuhl u. dgl. Man erhält auf die beschriebene Weise sehr ausgiebige Pigmentfarben, die insbesondere den Vorteil aufweisen, daß sie, auch wenn sie vorher getrocknet waren, sich beim Aufschlämmen in Wasser sehr leicht in äußerst feine Suspension bringen lassen.Process for the preparation of pigment paints It has been found that one can get pigment colors of very valuable properties if one is reversible colloidal aluminum silicates of the reversible wilkinite and bentonite type organic or inorganic dyes, especially pigment dyes, in Intimately mixed in the presence of water and dries. Es ist ferner bekannt, daß die kolloidalen Tone als Substrate bei Lackfällungen Verwendung finden können. Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die neue Erkenntnis zugrunde, daß man durch ein inniges Vermischen von organischen oder anorganischen Farbstoffen mit den erwähnten reversiblen, kolloidalen Aluminiumsilicaten in Gegenwart von Wasser technisch sehr wertvolle Produkte erhält, die nach dem Trocknen ohne weiteres mit Wasser eine sehr feine Suspension geben und sich so für die verschiedensten Zwecke verwenden lassen. Beispiel i 9o kg Ocker werden in einer Knetmaschine mit i o kg reversiblem Wilkinit und a 5 kg Wasser 3o Minuten lang intensiv geknetet. Darauf wird das Gemisch getrocknet und gemahlen. Man erhält eine sehr ausgiebige Pigmentfarbe, die sich in Wasser äußerst fein suspendieren läßt und,. z. B. unter Anwendung von Caseinleim, zu einer Lederdeckfarbe verarbeitet werden kann. Beispiel a 9 5 Tee reversibler Wilkinit werden mit 5 Teilen Litholechtscharlach-R-Pulver (Schultz, Farbstofftabellen, 5 Aufl., Nr. 73 ) und 8oo Teilen Wasser zweimal durch eine Farbmühle (Tellermühle) gefühxt, worauf die Farbpaste getrocknet und gemahlen wird.
