Description
Method and apparatus for obtaining pure alcohol directly from the mash by distillation The previously known method for immediate Obtaining pure alcohol from the mash consists in principle in that from the First mash the preliminary products by partial distillation and then the Ethyl alcohol and the after-products through complete de-spiriting of the mash be eliminated from the same, with a first partial distillation Part of those alcohol vapors that are used in the complete defrosting the mash, d. H. in the main distillation. The preliminary products, which in the produced by the partial distillation, very small proportions of Vapors containing alcohol are contained, according to the known method directly amplified in a rectifying column by the main distillation Alcohol vapors generated by this process are passed into a rectification column, in which the alcohol is strengthened and freed from the after-products. To the Exercise of these procedures are used a distillation column for the main distillation, an overlying column for the partial distillation of the mash and a Column to reinforce the preliminary products, which in turn are back above the column is set up for partial distillation. As a result of this arrangement flows the reflux from the rectifying column by its own gradient directly to the top tray of the column for the partial distillation, on which the fermented mash is passed, and furthermore the mash from the latter Column on the top tray of the column for the main distillation. In opposite The alcohol vapors flow from the lowest distillation column into the direction middle and from this into the rectifying column. A part of the flows next to it Alcohol vapors from the lowest column into the rectification column. Both these Alcohol vapors as well as the mash, which from the middle column for the partial Distillation flowing into the bottom column for the main distillation should be perfect be free of upstream products, because otherwise these products go into the rectification column would arrive, in which they would not even by the known pasteurization process for Alcohol could be excreted or.
This condition is not achieved in the known methods, and alcohol fumes, the Al, which column from the Hauptdestillatiä in the Rektifikationskolonneströme ;, ', still contain certain amounts of birds, found, light ends, thereby appears understandable that the rectifying column enrichment of the light ends also in the column for partial distillation and furthermore the heating of this column with alcohol vapors from the main distillation column causes an increase in the alcohol content at the bottom of the column for partial distillation, both of which make it difficult for this column to function properly. The elimination of the preliminary products is the better, the lower the alcohol content of the treated liquid and best by simple, albeit partial, distillation without a rectifying column.
By the method which forms the subject of the invention, the described disadvantage of the known methods is eliminated, namely by that in an independent column, which with steam directly or indirectly all preliminary products from the mash are heated by partial distillation boiled out and discharged with alcohol vapors without reinforcement to in one Condenser, which does not act as a dephlegmator (return flow generator), condenses to will. The mixed condensate obtained in this way, which is only part of the in the mash originally contained ethyl alcohol, but all preliminary products and waters entrains, is fed in the hot state to a rectifying column in which if necessary with the addition of hot dilution water, all preliminary products first-boiled and then strengthened. That freed from these products and - Phlegm containing ethyl alcohol is then passed into the rectification column, to strengthen the alcohol there. The mash freed from the preliminary products is completely de-iced in an independent main distillation column; the The alcohol vapors obtained in this way are completely free of head and are fed into the rectification column led, where they together with the lead-free phlegm from the amplification column rectified, d. H. be freed from the follow-up products and strengthened.
.With the new process, the boiling of the preliminary products is therefore easier and better because of the ratio is greater than in the known method and also the refining coefficient I (with an alcohol content of the residual mash of only 5.33 percent by weight is greater than with 7.2 percent by weight of the residual mash in the known processes of at least 92 ° C, can be used to heat the mash, which has already been preheated during the rectification of the alcohol, to almost boiling temperature, and the first distillation is therefore almost free in terms of heat consumption.
The steam consumption of the cleaning column is very low and amounts to only 15 kg of steam compared to the steam consumption of the whole apparatus, about 300 kg for each cool alcohol.
Das Rohr 18 dient sowohl zur Entlüftung der Destillationskolonne i und des Vorwärmers 8 als auch zur Abführung des Dampfrückstandes aus dem Vorwärmer 8 in die Verstärkungskolonnen 3 und 4.The arrangement of the apparatus for this process is shown in the accompanying drawing and means on the same: i the first distillation column for boiling off the preliminary products, 2 the second distillation column for boiling off the remaining alcohol from the mash, 3 and 4 the strengthening column of the forerun, di des Distillate from the first column i, 5 the lutter column for boiling off all of the alcohol from the rest of the first distillate, which flows in from the rectification column 3 and 4, 6 the rectification column for alcohol amplification, 7 the first mash preheater, 8 the second mash preheater, at the same time the condenser of the first distillate, 9 the dephlegmator of the rectification column 4, io the dephlegmator of the rectification column 6, ii the cooler of the rectification column 4, 12 the cooler of the rectification column 6 3 in the first preheater 7 where a preheating takes place by the alcohol vapors from the rectification column 6, whereupon the same passes through the pipe 14 into the second preheater 8 (condenser), in which it is brought to a temperature close to the boiling point by the warmer vapors from the first distillation column. From the condenser 8 the mash falls through the pipe 15 to the highest base of the first distillation column i, where it is brought to the boil. In column i, about a third of the alcohol is boiled out of the mash by means of the heating coil 16. This is sufficient for the complete boiling of all preliminary products, because these are far more volatile than the ethyl alcohol. The alcohol vapors, which contain the preliminary products, -are fed through the pipe 16 'from the distillation column i into the second preheater 8 (condenser), where they condense completely. The first condensate obtained in this way in this first distillation, which is almost boiling hot, is passed through the pipe 17 into the rectifying column 3 and 4. No reflux from the condenser 8 into the distillation column is arranged. The pipe 18 serves both to vent the distillation column i and the preheater 8 and to discharge the vapor residue from the preheater 8 into the rectification columns 3 and 4.
In the rectifying column 3, 4 hot water is fed, for. B. the steam condensates from the coils 16 and i 9 of the distillation column i and the Lutter column 5. This is necessary so that in the lower part 3 of the rectifying column 3, 4 all by-products from the first distillate can be boiled, which are around so more are contained in it than they are from the upper part 4 of the rectifying column 3, 4 are sent back. The column 3 is immediately supplied with steam from the tube 2o heated so that the spirit is diluted even more. In addition, the mode of action is the reinforcement columns 3 and 4 known. In the cooler i i, the preliminary products are used containing flow condensed and discharged through the pipe 2 i. - Through the pipe 22 the so-called soluble oils flow and through the pipe 23 the insoluble or fusel oils if such were distilled off in the column i.
That in column i from a third of the alcohol and the precursors Completely freed mash flows through pipe 25 into the second distillation column 2, where all remaining alcohol z. B. boiled out by means of the Schlempekochers 26 will. The alcohol-free mash residue flows off through the pipe 27. The distillate the column 2 is in vapor form through the pipe 28 into the rectification column 6 where a rectification is carried out together with the alcohol coming from the rectifying column 3 flows through the pipe 29 to the highest plate of the Lutter column 5 takes place. This column is used to boil off all of the alcohol from the reflux of the column 3 and the rectification column 6.
The functioning of the rectification column is known. The pasteurized alcohol is discharged from this column through tube 3o, the final products remaining in the alcohol through tube 3i and the unpasteurized alcohol, which contains the initial products formed during rectification by alcohol decomposition, through tube 32 from cooler 12. The Lutterwasser flows out of the column 5 through the tube 33. Through the pipe 34 and the condensation water 35 of the queues 16 is guided and 1 9 to the alcohol dilution in the column. 3
