Elektrische Kontaktvorrichtung, insbesondere zur Stromabnahme für
elektrische Bahnen Bei Stromabnehmern elektrischer Bahnen rühren vom Abspringen
her.
Electrical contact device, in particular for drawing current for
Electric railways In the case of pantographs in electrical railways, they stop jumping
from the contact wire and the resulting power interruptions radio interference
here. It is known that the pantograph material has an influence on these disturbances.
So far there are pantographs made of iron, brass, carbon, metallized graphite (mixture
made of bronze or similar metal powder with graphite), aluminum and other materials
been used. It turned out that the disturbances were the worst
are in the case of aluminum brackets, as these are mostly caused by the arc that is formed
to be attacked. Badly conductive areas are formed on the bracket
naturally change the current transfer permanently. Iron has proven to be better, however
is coal in some form, e.g. B. graphite, so far none. Metal surpassed
been. It is well known that with carbon as the cathode there is a much longer arc
to achieve with lower voltage with the same current than with other materials,
so that for this reason carbon sanding bars are most advantageous in use
are. The energy released in the arc is therefore very low with coal, see above
that the contact wire is spared in an advantageous manner and not by focal points
affects the current transfer to the vehicle. However, there are also carbon sanding bars
not completely trouble-free, which is mainly due to strong irregularities on the contact wire
and is due to vehicle bumping; even step with them despite being smoother
Contact lines in case of hoarfrost faults.
With the invention it is possible to eliminate even the last small disturbances
with electrical. Contact devices, in particular for drawing electrical power
Paths to be eliminated by the fact that as an additive to the contact material, e.g.
B. coal, metal salts such as calcium fluoride, which are an extension of the
cause arcing at the contact. The new contact material of the grinding hanger
is therefore designed in the manner of the effect carbons known in arc lighting technology.
In this way it is achieved that even at distances at which the normal
Would tear off the carbon arc, this can still be maintained and thus
the frequency of the disturbances is largely reduced. The arc length can be
with this material with the same current and the same voltage several times over
the length otherwise observed with other materials. As an addition can
for example calcium fluoride can be used. You can either use the metal salt
Apply evenly distributed in the contact strip, or you can

special recesses in the contact strip, which are filled with the metal salt.
However, it is already known for the material of electrical contact devices
To use metal salts, in particular metal sulfides. By this measure is
however arcing has not been improved according to the new proposal,
rather, at most a reduction in the interference intensity could be achieved, the
corresponds roughly to that of contacts made of coal.
A-B gezeigt. The construction of a contact strip is based on an exemplary embodiment
explained according to the present invention. In Fig. I is a new grinding hanger
in the view, in Figure 2 a section through this along the dashed line
A-B shown.
With i is a triangular contact strip, for example made of coal
or metallized graphite, denoted 'that at 2 and 3 in the at grinding iron
known brackets can be stored. -In the contact piece i there are groove axes
Recesses q. provided that with metal salts, so z. B. Fluorcalcium filled in
will. As can be seen in particular from the section shown in FIG. 2, extend
the recesses through the material located behind a bracket edge
of the contact strip, whereby it is achieved that a recess for
two grinding surfaces of the contact strip can be used. As a result of this expedient
Training is also always a contact with wear and tear of the individual grinding surfaces
of the contact wire achieved with the metal salt, so in this way in any case
a large arc length is guaranteed in the event of cog cycle interruptions on the contact wire.
The recesses q. are interrupted by stiffeners 5, the contact strip
give sufficient mechanical strength. As mentioned above
the metal salts can also be added to the material of the contact strip as a whole
be. Furthermore, the application of the new contact strips is not only for use
limited to electric railways but the contact strips can go anywhere
are used where high-voltage interruptions cause disturbances of low-voltage
and broadcast systems.
Another embodiment of the new sliding contacts still exists
in that the 'contact strip is pressed into the desired shape from a
Wire mesh of the base material is formed, the interstices with metal salts
are filled out.
