Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt die Herstellung eines Sicherheitsschlosses hauptsächlich für Eisenbahnlastwagen, an welchem ein Behälter für kleinere Briefe oder auf die Manipulation Bezug habende Mittheilungen derart angebracht ist, dafs das Anfüllen bezw. Zum leichteren Herausnehmen der im Briefkasten befindlichen Mittheilungen dient noch Thürchen f, das eventuell mit einem besonderen Schlüssel versehen werden kann. Der Zugang zum Briefkasten soll also nur im geöffneten Zustande des Schlosses möglich sein. Zur Controlirung dessen, ob nicht in der Zwischenzeit das Schlofs bezw. der Briefkasten durch unberufene Personen geöffnet worden ist, dient ein Gontroluhrwerk A, dessen Zifferblatt bei jedesmaligem Oeffnen des Schlosses um eine Zahl weiterspringt und so die Zahl der Oeffnungen anzeigt.The lock housing, in which the bolt α provided with the security plates b is located, has a separate space v below, which is intended to receive the aforementioned communications.
