Man hat auch vorgeschlagen, durch einen Zieh- oder Walzprozeß *den Hohlquerschnitt zu verdichten. Ein homogenes Material kann aber dadurch nicht erreicht werden, weil der Zieh- oder Walzvorgang bei abgenutzten Kokillen notwendig zu örtlichen Überanstrengungen führen muß. Solche Überanstrengungen. können auch auftreten, wenn die Kokillen in kaltem Zustande gereckt werden, um ihren Hohlquerschnitt zu verringern. Nach der Erfindung werden. die abgenutzten Kokillen zwecks Verengung warm gepreßt oder geschmiedet. Dadurch kann man beim nachherigen Ausbohren mit Sicherheit gesundes Material erreichen und somit das Material wieder vollständig verwerten.
