Description

Process for the production of objects of high stiffness and spring force Addition to patent 61 1 a56 In patent 6r t 256 a process is described by which objects of high stiffness and spring force from alloys with 55 to 85% nickel, zo to q 0% chromium, or the like is described Up to 20% iron and more than 5 to 15% molybdenum, the molybdenum being completely or partially replaced by tungsten, can be achieved by heating the objects to between 100 and 700 °. The heating time can be up to several hours. It has been found that the same method also works with objects made of alloys which consist only of nickel, chromium and optionally iron in the proportions given above. The alloys can also contain small amounts of molybdenum, ie below 5%. The molybdenum can also be completely or partially replaced by tungsten. In addition, small amounts of deoxidizing additives or processing additives, such as silicon moderate manganese, may be present. Here, too, it can be seen that both the smoothness and the spring force can be increased quite considerably by pretreatment at q: oo to 700 °, in particular around 600 °.
