.'In
W2 kurzgeschlossen.Contactor control for pole-changing motors with protection against
Phase short circuit The subject of the main patent is a safety circuit for stator contactors
of pole-changing motors, when switching from one number of poles
on the other when an arc stops at the contacts of the contactors
for the previously switched-on number of poles, the one that initiates the switching-on of the other number of poles
Contactor with its two coil ends is placed at the same potential to its
To prevent activation. So that there is no short circuit between this potential
and the counter-potential at one terminal for normal excitation of the contactors
occurs, the counter potential must be applied via a resistor or a choke coil
the contactor coil must be applied. The contactor coil is therefore for a normal voltage
which is smaller than the mains voltage, namely to reduce the voltage loss
in resistance. Since the voltage loss in the resistor depends on the one that occurs
Current and also the current of the pull coil when switched on. Much larger
is than holding, so it is not easy to find a resistance value that
on the one hand a secure tightening of the contactor is guaranteed, on the other hand also
Do not apply excessive voltage to the coil of the contactor after it has been tightened. .'In
this disadvantage can be counteracted in a simple manner by using the resistance
or taps the choke coil and with the contactor switched off by means of an auxiliary contact
short-circuits part of the resistor or the coil on the contactor. Is that contactor
switched on, the short circuit is canceled by the auxiliary contact, and the
entire resistance or the entire coil is connected upstream. For the sake of simplicity
the drawing shows exactly the same circuit as in the main patent,
and the dash-dotted lines indicate only those for carrying out the present
Invention required additional lines highlighted. As from the drawing
As can be seen, the auxiliary contact of the contactor a1 is its series resistor
W1 partially short-circuited as long as the contactor is not picked up. Likewise is
through the auxiliary contact of the contactor bi part of its series resistor
W2 short-circuited.
A further improvement in the design can be achieved by
that the rest auxiliary contacts are located on one or both of the arc blocking circuit
Protect are trained so that they work time-delayed. This achieves
that the resistance in the coil circuit is only connected upstream when the magnet
has pulled through fully, so that safe operation of the contactor is guaranteed.
