Bei den bisherigen Hebevorrichtungen für die Brennergallerie an Lampen, welche durch eine Kurbel und Pleuelstange gekennzeichnet sind, wird die Aufhaltung dieses Getriebes theils durch Ansätze an der Kurbel oder der Pleuelstange bewerkstelligt, theils durch Federn, welche eine an der Kurbelwelle excentrisch angebrachte Scheibe an bestimmter Stelle festhalten. Der Niet η ist seiner Länge nach bei /, der Zunge ^ entsprechend, eingefräst, so dafs die in Kurbel und Pleuelstange befindlichen Nietlöcher mit ihrer Zunge % bezw. \^λ sich über . diesen Niet schieben lassen. Der Niet η ist ferner dicht über dem Nietkopf und parallel mit .demselben bei s in der Höhe der Blechstärke, aus welchem Kurbel oder Pleuelstange angefertigt werden, bis zum Mittelpunkte des Nietschaftes eingefräst. Wird nun der Niet η durch die Nietlöcher der Kurbel und der Pleuelstange gesteckt und vernietet, so kann derjenige Hebeltheil, z. B. die Pleuelstange, welcher auf dem Nietkopf aufliegt, ca. ^]/₃ Kreisbewegung machen, während der andere Hebeltheil fest auf dem Niet sitzt, und zwar wird der erstere mit der Zunge \ ¹ gegen die vordere, oder auch gegen die hintere Endfläche der Ausfräsung s anschlagen. Beim Heben der Gallerie dreht sich die Zunge des Nietloches um den Mittelpunkt des Nietes η und schlägt schliefslich an die Endfläche .der Ausfräsung s an.
