- Technischer Bereich
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Textilgewebe für die Verwendung als der Oberstoff einer Bekleidung für Feuerwehrleute.
- Hintergrund der Erfindung
- Der Oberstoff eines Feuerwehrbekleidungsstücks muss widerstandsfähig gegen Flammen, Hitze, Abnutzung, Reißen und Feuchtigkeit, sowie langlebig und leichtgewichtig sein. Dieser Oberstoff bietet die erste Schutzschicht für die Feuerwehrleute.

U. S. Patent Nr. 5,299,602 offenbart einen gewebten, für Bekleidungsstücke von Feuerwehrleuten hergestellten Oberstoff, in denen die Kettfäden Multifilamentgarne aus Aramid sind und die Schussfäden entweder Multifilament- oder Spinnfasergarne aus Aramid sind. -
U. S. Patent 5,628,065 offenbart einen Feuerwehrhelm aus einem gewirkten Gewebe, das aus einer Mischung aus PBI- und Aramidfasern gebildet wurde. - Die
U. S. Patente Nr. 6,065,153 und6,192,520 offenbaren einen gewebten Oberstoff für ein Feuerwehrbekleidungsstück. Dieses Gewebe hat eine Leinwand-, Köper- oder Ripstop-Bindung und die Garne sind eine Mischung aus PBI- und Aramidfasern. Das Gewebe weist ein Gewicht im Bereich von 187 bis 271 g/m2 (5,5 bis 8 OSY) auf, vorzugsweise 254 g/m2 (7,5 OSY). - Ein populärer Oberstoff ist ein Gewebe aus Spinnfasergarnen, die aus PBI- und Aramid-Stapelfasern bestehen. Dieses Gewebe ist auf dem Markt als „PBI GOLD®" bekannt. In den USA wird dieses Gewebe im Allgemeinen in den folgenden Formen hergestellt: 1) eine 254 g/m2 (7,5 OSY) Ripstop-Bindung, die aus einem Spinnfasergarn mit 16/2 cc (cotten count), bestehend aus 40 Gew.-% PBI und 60 Gew.-% eines Para-Aramids, hergestellt wird; oder 2) einer nominellen 237 g/m2 (7,0 OSY) (tatsächlich 248 bis 251 g/m2 (7,3 bis 7,4 OSY)) Ripstop-Bindung, die aus einem Spinnfasergarn mit 21/2 cc, bestehend aus 40% PBI und 60% des Para-Aramids, hergestellt wird. International gibt es dieses Gewebe in der Form einer 200 bis 220 g/m2 (6,0 bis 6,5 OSY) Ripstop-Bindung aus Spinnfasergarnen mit 24–25/2 cc aus 40% PBI und 60% Para-Aramid, oder einer Köperbindung, die aus Fasergarnen mit 35/2 cc aus 40% PBI und 60% Para-Aramid hergestellt wird.
- Ein weiteres als ein Oberstoff verwendetes Gewebe wird unter dem Handelsnahmen „Millenia" von Southern Mills, Inc., Union City, GA, verkauft. Das Millenia-Gewebe wird mit einem Spinnfasergarn hergestellt, das aus 40% PBO- und 60% Para-Aramid-Stapelfaser besteht.
- Obwohl „PBI GOLD®" sich als ein ausgezeichneter Oberstoff erwies, besteht noch immer Bedarf an einer Verbesserung dieser Gewebe. Es besteht ein Wunsch, über leichtgewichtigere Gewebe zu verfügen, die bessere Beständigkeit gegen Reißen und Abnutzung aufweisen.

US 5 928 971 betrifft ein Obergewebe für eine thermische Barriere eines Feuerwehrbekleidungsstücks, das aus einem Gewebe, das aus feuerbeständigen Garnen gewoben wurde, hergestellt wird. Diese Filamentgarne werden aus einem schwer entflammbaren Material hergestellt, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Aramiden, schwer entflammbarem Polynosic-Rayon, schwer entflammbarer Baumwolle, schwer entflammbarem Polyester, Polybenzimidazol, Poly(vinylalkohol), Polytetrafluorethylen, schwer entflammbarer Wolle, Poly(vinylchlorid), Polyetheretherketon, Polyetherimid, Polyethersulfon, Polychlal, Polyimid, aliphatischem Polyamid, Polyimid-Amid, schwer entflammbarem Polyolefin, Polybenzoxazol, schwer entflammbarem Aceton, Kohlenstoff, Modacryl, Melamin, Glas und Mischungen daraus. - Kurze Darstellung der Erfindung
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Textilgewebe. Dieses Gewebe wird vorzugsweise als der Oberstoff einer Bekleidung für Feuerwehrleute verwendet. Das Gewebe ist ein Gewebe aus Spinnfasergarnen und Multifilamentgarnen. Das Fasergarn umfasst eine erste Stapelfaser, bei der es sich um ein Polymer ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus PBI oder PBO oder Melaminformaldehyd handelt, sowie eine zweite Stapelfaser, bei der es sich um ein Aramid-Polymer handelt. Das Multifilamentgarn umfasst ein Aramid-Filament.

- Zum Zwecke der Erläuterung dieser Erfindung wird in den Abbildungen eine Form der vorliegenden Erfindung gezeigt; es versteht sich jedoch, dass diese Erfindung nicht auf die gezeigten exakten Anordnungen und Mittel beschränkt ist.

- Unter Bezug auf die Abbildungen, in denen gleiche Bezugsnummern gleiche Elemente bezeichnen, ist in
1 eine Darstellung des Textilgewebes10 gezeigt, das gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung hergestellt wurde. Vorzugsweise hat das Gewebe10 eine goldene Farbe mit einem „karierten" Muster, das durch schwarze Multifilamentgarne14 erzeugt wird. Das Gewebe10 wird vorzugsweise mit Spinnfasergarnen12 und Multifilamentgarnen14 gewoben. Die Bindungen werden ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Leinwand-, Köper-, Ripstop- und Oxfordbindung. Das Gewebegewicht kann im Bereich von 200 bis 271 g/m2 (6 bis 8 OSY), vorzugsweise 237 g/m2 (7 OSY) liegen. Das Gewichtsverhältnis von Spinnfasergarnen zu Multifilamentgarnen sollte in einem Bereich von 85:15 bis 92:8, vorzugsweise 90:10 liegen. Das Multifilamentgarn kann unter die Spinnfasergarne eingelegt werden, sowohl im Kett- also auch im Schussfaden, mit einem Einlageverhältnis von 1:5 bis 1:20, vorzugsweise 1:9. Vorzugsweise wird das Gewebe mit einer wasser-/feuchtigkeitsbeständigen Appretur behandelt, wie es wohlbekannt ist. - Die Spinnfasergarne
12 sind eine Mischung aus einer ersten Stapelfaser und einer zweiten Stapelfaser. Die erste Stapelfaser ist eine Faser, die aus einem Polymer, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus PBI, PBO, einem Melaminformaldehyd oder Kombinationen davon, besteht. Die zweite Stapelfaser ist eine Faser, die aus einem Aramid oder Mischungen aus Aramiden hergestellt wird. Beispielhafte Spinnfasergarne umfassen, sind aber nicht beschränkt auf, Mischungen aus PBI- und Aramidstapelfasern, PBO- und Aramidstapelfasern, Melaminformaldehyd- und Aramidstapelfasern und PBI-, PBO-, Melaminformaldehyd- und Aramid-Stapelfasern. Die Spinnfasergarne umfassen vorzugsweise 45 Gew.-% der ersten Stapelfaser und 55 Gew.-% der Aramid-Stapelfaser. Die Spinnfasergarne können, was die Größe angeht, in einem Bereich von 32/2 bis 16/2 cc, vorzugsweise 24/2 cc liegen. - PBI-Stapelfasern sind von Celanese Acetate LLC, Charlotte, NC, kommerziell erhältlich. PBO-Stapelfasern sind unter dem Handelsnamen ZYLON® von Toyobo Co., Ltd., Osaka, Japan, kommerziell erhältlich. Melaminformaldehyd-Fasern sind unter dem Handelsnamen BASOFIL® von der BASF Corporation, Mount Olive, New Jersey, kommerziell erhältlich.
- Bei den Aramid-Stapelfasern kann es sich entweder um ein Meta-Aramid oder um ein Para-Aramid handeln; das Para-Aramid ist bevorzugt. Solche Aramid-Fasern sind unter dem Handelsnamen TWARON®, CONEX® und TECHNORA® von Teijin Co., Osaka, Japan; oder NOMEX® oder KELVAR® von DuPont, Wilmington, DE; oder P84 von Lenzing AG, Lenzing, Österreich; A oder KERMEL® von Rhodia Inc., Cranbury, NJ, kommerziell erhältlich.
- Das Multifilamentgarn wird aus Aramid-Filament hergestellt. Beim Aramid kann es sich entweder um Meta-Aramid oder um Para-Aramid handeln; das Para-Aramid ist bevorzugt. Solche Aramid-Fasern sind unter dem Handelsnamen TECHNORA®, TWARON® und CONEX® von Teijin Co., Osaka, Japan; oder NOMEX® oder KELVAR® von DuPont, Wilmington, DE; oder P84 von Lenzing AG, Lenzing, Österreich; oder KERMEL® von Rhodia Inc., Cranbury, NJ, kommerziell erhältlich. Das Multifilamentgarn liegt, was die Größe angeht, in einem Bereich von 222 bis 667 dtex (200 bis 1500 denier), vorzugsweise 444 dtex (400 denier). Das Multifilamentgarn kann ein glattes Garn, ein einfacher Zwirn oder ein „Stretch-Broken"-Garn sein.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung hat bei einem geringeren Gewicht gegenüber dem PBI GOLD®-Gewebe überlegene Reiß- und Abnutzungsbeständigkeit. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 1 dargestellt.
- Gewebe A ist ein Gewebe mit 200 g/m2 (6,0 OSY); das Spinnfasergarn hat 27/2 cc mit Stapelfasern aus 45 Gewichtsprozent PBI und 55 Prozent Technora®; das Multifilamentgarn ist ein glattes Garn, das alle 10 Fäden in den Kett- und Schussfaden eingelegt ist.
- Gewebe B ist ein Gewebe mit 234 g/m2 (6,9 OSY); das Spinnfasergarn hat 24/2 cc mit Stapelfasern aus 45 Gewichtsprozent PBI und 55 Prozent Twaron® Mikrodenier; das Multifilamentgarn ist ein einfacher Zwirn, der alle 9 Fäden in den Kett- und Schussfaden eingelegt ist. TABELLE 1

Claims (11)
- Gewebe zur Verwendung als ein Oberstoff für ein Bekleidungsstück für Feuerwehrleute, umfassend ein gewebtes Material aus Spinnfasergarnen, wobei diese Spinnfasergarne eine erste Stapelfaser aus einem Polymer, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus PBI, PBO oder Melaminformaldehyd, umfassen, wobei dieses Gewebe auch Multifilamentgarne umfasst, die ein Aramid-Filament umfassen, und dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese Spinnfasergarne eine zweite Stapelfaser oder ein Aramid-Polymer umfassen.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis von Spinnfasergarn zu Multifilamentgarnen in einem Bereich von 85:15 bis 92:8 liegt.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 2, wobei das Gewichtsverhältnis 90:10 beträgt.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Gewicht des Gewebes in einem Bereich von 200–271 g/m2 (6 bis 8 OSY) liegt.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Gewebe eine Bindung aufweist, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Leinwand-, Köper-, Ripstop- oder Oxfordbindung.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Spinnfasergarn in einem Bereich von 32/2 bis 16/2 cc liegt.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Multifilamentgarn in einem Bereich von 222 bis 667 dtex (200 bis 1500 denier) liegt.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Multifilamentgarn in das Spinnfasergarn in einem Verhältnis von 1:5 bis 1:20: eingelegt wird.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 2 oder 8, wobei dieses Spinnfasergarn eine Mischung aus PBI- und Aramid-Stapelfasern ist.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 2 oder 8, wobei dieses Spinnfasergarn eine Mischung aus PBO- und Aramid-Stapelfasern ist.
- Gewebe nach Anspruch 2 oder 8, wobei dieses Spinnfasergarn eine Mischung aus PBI-, PBO- und Aramid-Stapelfasern ist.
