Abstract

The construction of the railway track uses a continuous linear concrete base (10) in which there is at least one composite profile (21). The process includes simultaneously casting fresh concrete (17) continuously along the length of the mould, setting the rail in place, and wedging, in a continuous process moving along the track of the rail. The construction procedure includes production of a continuous, massive linear concrete base (10) which follows a predetermined line, and setting at least one composite profile (21) into this concrete in order to be positioned with precision. The procedure includes a first stage of constructing the concrete base by casting fresh concrete (17) continuously along the length of the mould. The composite profile is then put in place along the predetermined path, and then the profile is inserted into the concrete and wedged in position. The stages of construction of the concrete base, and the insertion and wedging of the composite profile are carried out simultaneously in each part of the track as the construction process moves along the route. The composite profile is guided laterally and vertically during the process of casting the concrete.
