Description
Surface quality meter With the previous surface quality meters do not evaluate a larger metal or wooden surface numerically. this is possible with the subject of the invention, which still has the advantage that the numerical: assessed surface can be viewed at the same time through a lens system.
Abb. i zeigt eine schematische Darstellung des neuen Oberflächengütemessers.Fig. I shows a schematic representation of the new surface quality meter.
'" Abb. 2 zeigt die Wiedergabe eines Risses auf der Oberfläche des zu untersuchenden Werkstückes.'"Fig. 2 shows the reproduction of a crack on the surface of the workpiece to be examined.
B. i bis 6, eingesetzt erhält. According to Fig. I, from a light source a through a lens system b a vertical bundle of light rays thrown onto a turntable c containing several Grid d of various sizes, e.g. B. i to 6, used. The different Grids d are rotated past under the parallel light beam, and it will open the workpiece $ ächee the clarity of the differently depicted grid f with the eye or viewed through a lens system in magnification. The grid that is shown most clearly on the workpiece surface, provides the numerical Value for the quality of the surface, insofar as each grid has its own grid number appropriate fineness is provided. If the grid number is larger, a clearly reflect such a grid on a coarser surface and a finer one -Raster on a correspondingly finer workpiece surface. The grid size is therefore directly dependent on the size of the unevenness of the surface, so that by this direct connection is not relative values, but absolute surface quality values measured.
Linie .erscheinen muß:Another advantage of the new measuring device is that after Fig.2 over the surface; cracks and scratches running on a workpiece, which in: one linear or punctual measurement cannot be numerically recorded in their entirety express themselves in the grid a by the fact that they are looped, i.e. H. mark as; broken grid line b. The refraction of the grid surface occurs in that the grid, which is clearly mapped on its otherwise flat surface, is a Scratches or polishing marks extend to the bottom of this groove, i.e. on a trough-shaped one Area, map: and depending on the depth of the groove in the form of a distorted. line must appear:
