Abstract
The surface of a substrate is pretreated with an abrasive containing one or more fluids solidified by cold in a solid aggregate state. Process for processing a surface of a substrate comprises roughening during pretreating the surface before coating it with a sprayed layer. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the process.
