Auf einer gemeinsamen, auf den Boden des Spülbeckens aufzustellenden Grundplatte α ist

Wenn der Zylinder e auf noch zu beschreibende Weise über das Rohr b gestülpt
wird, so wird durch dieses kolbenartig das in den Zylinder e eingedrungene Wasser nach oben
durch die öffnung e2 hindurchgedrückt, um
dann die Borsten f der Bürste und die Innenwandung des Glases g kräftig zu spülen. Diese
Borsten können, wie das Ausführungsbeispiel zeigt, auf einem Siebmantel h befestigt sein.
Mit dem Bürstenkörper steht am unteren Rande eine Schale i in Verbindung, die an ihrem
Rande einen Borstenkranz fx zwecks Reinigens des äußeren Glasrandes aufweist. Weiterhin
steht der Borstenkörper durch eine Verbindung k mit dem Stößel d± der Druckplatte d in
Verbindung, die bei d3 kolbenartig in dem Rohr c geführt ist und unter Einfluß einer
Feder I steht. Die Verbindung k ist durch
einen Schlitz C1 des Rohres c hindurchgeführt. Die Verbindung des Hebels k mit dem Borstenkörper
geschieht zweckmäßig über ein Kugellager m. Wird nun mit den Fingern das Glas g
erfaßt und über die Borsten f gestreift und dann mit dem Handballen derselben Hand
entgegen der Feder I die Druckplatte d2 nach
unten gedrückt, so wird über das Kugellager m der Borstenkörper und das Glas mit nach
unten genommen, indem sich der bei η in der Drallführung O1 geführte Borstenkörper während
des Nachuntenbewegens in Umdrehung versetzt. Dabei dringt auf die beschriebene Weise das in dem Zylinder befindliche Wasser
durch die oberen Öffnungen ez, um dadurch die Innenwand des Glases kräftig zu bespülen.
Nach erfolgter Abwärtsbewegung wird die ganze Vorrichtung unter Auswirkung der Feder Z
in die gezeichnete Anfangsstellung zurückgebracht.
