Abstract

The system comprises block and guidance cylinders spaced by a gap through which air is supplied and at which printing takes place. Hollow cylinders (16) are mounted in the guide surface adjacent to the guidance cylinder (10), and are connected at one end to a pneumatic system. The other discharges an air jet, their angle being adjustable. In conjunction with the guidance cylinder, the guide surface forms an intake gap (23) tapering in the travel direction (8) towards the printing gap (12). The guide surface can be part of a chamber (13-15) connected to the pneumatic system and having a bottom part and a detachable top one.
