Abstract

The switch has a rotatable switching toggle (14) and a switching lock with a latching position, a thermal and an electromagnetic trigger and a contact position with a fixed and a movable contact piece formed on a contact lever. A guide element (20) movable linearly and perpendicularly wrt. the switch front wall (12) is coupled to the switching toggle via a lever. The thermal and electromagnetic trigger (44,37) act on a pawl lever (22) rotatably mounted on the guide element, which is pivoted against a spring force. The end of a yoke is guided in an elongated hole (27) in the guide element. The other end is coupled to the contact lever (33). The first end is pressed against a protrusion (26) formed on the pawl lever when engaged.
