Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Regie für kinematographische Bild- bzw. Bildtonfilme und besteht darin, daß die regiemäßige Bearbeitung, z. B. das regiemäßige Schneiden, an besonderen Regiefilmen vorgenommen wird, die kleineres Bildformat und kürzere Aufzeichnungslänge aufweisen als die für die Zusammenstellung der Vorführfilme aufgenommenen Originalfilme. Es kann also nach der Erfindung beispielsweise die Regiearbeit einer Originalaufnahme auf 35-mm-Normalfilmband.an einem Regiefilm von der üblichen i6-mrn-Schmalfilmgröße erfolgen. Eine besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist es, wenn der Regiefilm nicht auf dem bekannten Wege des optischen, verkleinernden Kopierens vom Originalaufnahmefilm gewonnen wird, sondern dadurch, daß, wie für andere Zwecke bekannt, ein zweiter Film gleichzeitig und synchron mit dem Originalaufnahmefilm nach der Naturszene aufgenommen wird. Es läßt sich hierbei für den Regiefilm das übliche Schmalfilmumkehrmaterial benutzen, so daß man ohne jeden Kopierakt, also in stark abgekürzter Zeit, zu einem Regiefilm kommen und den Aufwand für einen Regienegativzwischenfilm vermeiden kann. Dies bedeutet einerseits einen starken Zeitgewinn, andererseits eine weitere Steigerung der Materialersparnis. Diese Ersparnis ist so groß, daß man es sich erlauben kann, für die Regiefilme das etwas teuere ■ unentflammbare Filmmaterial zu wählen, das dem regiemäßigen Bearbeiter größere Sorglosigkeit und'erhöhte Bequemlichkeiten gestattet, z. Das erwähnte Kopieren vom nassen Originalfilm ist um so weniger umständlich, als wegen der Bildverkleinerung ohnehin nur ein optisches Kopieren in Betracht kommt und bei einem solchen die beiden Filme in genügend großem Abstand voneinander laufen, um die ungehinderte Anwendung einer besonderen Ausgestaltung des Mechanismus zum Fördern des Originalfilms zu ermöglichen. Eine solche Sonderausgestaltung kann z.
