Abstract

A spring-loaded rotary drive 10 for a load interrupter switch is described, which comprises a blocking device 16 which can be connected to the relevant switch shaft 14, two latching pawls 18, 20 which interact with locking surfaces 22 - 32 on the blocking device 16, and a plate cam 34 which can rotate relative to the locking device 16 against spring force and has cam surfaces 36 - 40 which act on the latching pawls. At least one of the latching pawls 18, 20 also interacts with a locking surface 42, 44 which is provided on the plate cam 34, in order to support the plate cam 34 when the spring arrangement is stressed, while the blocking device 16 is supported on the other latching pawl 20, 18 via an oblique surface 46, 48 which permits automatic tripping, said latching pawl 20, 18 for this purpose being partially lifted off by a relevant cam surface 36, 38 and further lifting off being prevented by a detachable blocking element 50, 52. <IMAGE>
