Abstract

The known high switching speed power and disconnecting switches, which operate using a spring-force drive, are unsuitable and not fast enough for the intended application for railway power systems. For this purpose, it is necessary to implement a high-speed interruptor switch having a low moved mass, without any unlocking system during disconnection and having a locking device, which is free of wear and is very fast, after disconnection. The interruptor switch according to the invention has two contact plates (1) which are arranged opposite one another, move axially and each support a magnetically conductive disc (7). The latter are pressed against a contact switching piece by means of in each case one contact-pressure spring (11). The contact switching piece supports a winding (6) whose excitation moves the contact plates (1) away from one another. The contact plates (1) are moved towards a permanent-magnet catchment device which locks the contact plate (1) in the open position and is provided with a demagnetising winding (13). The disconnector switch is provided especially for railway power systems having electronic commutation devices, in the case of which rapid disconnection of a damaged section outlet, and possibly rapid switching-on again, are required. Furthermore, it is suitable for all tasks requiring fast contact disconnection. <IMAGE>
