Abstract

The present invention relates to a drainage fitting for shower trays or sinks, in which a fixed drainage pipe can be mounted in a drainage opening of the tray or sink. According to the invention, the fixed drainage pipe (16) receives, in a telescopically displaceable manner, a vertical pipe (20) which is of approximately the same length and the upper edge of which forms an inlet mouth. This vertical pipe (20) can be displaced into a lower position, in which its mouth is located beneath the mouth of the drainage pipe (16) or at approximately the same height, and into a maximum, upper position, in which the vertical pipe (20) is largely extended. The respective extreme positions are delimited by stops and there are provided on the outside sealing elements (17) which rest on the vertical pipe (20). In the case of a drainage fitting according to the invention, it is possible to adjust a water level at a defined height above the base of the tray or sink. <IMAGE>
