Abstract

The invention concerns a method of manufacturing an air-heating enclosure, in particular enclosures intended for mounting on radiators or other water-heated bodies. A piece of at least partly perforated sheet metal is bent of folded to form a long-sided housing and one end clamped by means of a ring clamp or similar device to a ring holding a connection pipe on to an air-feed system. A height-adjustable compensation plate is inserted from the other (open) end of the housing into the inside of the housing against a cover, and this cover joined in turn to the housing by means of a ring clamp or similar device.
