Wasserbehälter vom Austrag- zum Eintragende.der Trommel befördert. Durch die Ausbildung der Waschvorrichtung gemäß der Erfindung wird einerseits eine leichte Reinigung des Klärbeckens auch während, des Betriebes ermöglicht, andererseits ein gründliches Waschen des Gutes im Gegenstrom erreicht, wobei das bereits gereinigte Gut mit frischem Wasser gespült wird. Insbesondere wird nach Art einer kommunizierenden Röhre ein Wasserumlauf erzielt, der durch die in der Längsrichtung der Waschtrommel erfolgende Wasserbewegung mit Hilfe der an sich bekannten Schnecke erhöht wird. Es wird ohne jede Pumpe ein sicherer Wasserumlauf erzielt und verhütet, daß der Schmutz wieder am Austragende in die Waschtrommel gelangt. Dabei hat die neue Waschvorrichtung eine einfache und gedrängte Bauart. Im Gegensatz zum Bekannten wird bei der Vorrichtung nicht nur eine Querspülung, sondern eine in der Längsrichtung der Führung des Gutes bewirkte Spülung erreicht.
