Luft liefert.Single-acting stage compressor with rectified working compartments
The subject of the invention relates to a piston working surfaces that are simply aligned in the same direction
acting stage compressor and is essentially characterized in that the
Direction of pressure in the linkage during the pressure stroke and during the suction stroke also when idling, i.e.
with the low-pressure cylinder switched off and the high-pressure cylinder operating in one stage
the purpose for which the harmful space of the high-pressure cylinder should remain the same
is dimensioned so large that the pressure of the compressed air enclosed in it when it falls
the piston does not drop below the suction pressure. The high pressure cylinder space is
therefore, in order to achieve this, according to the invention enlarged approximately so much that the unstressed,
air contained in the entire space of the high pressure cylinder after compression up to
Maximum pressure occupies the harmful space. The single-acting stage compressors
with rectified work surfaces keep the printing direction during their performance work
in the linkage and in the bearings, because the high pressure surface at the suction head of the stepped piston
remains loaded by the compressed air of the intermediate container (intercooler). In the
Switching off the low-pressure cylinder from the air supply but this disappears
Pressure on the high pressure piston surface, and it occurs because of the reversal of the pressure direction
a knock in the linkage bearings, which indicates the usability of the compressor
diminishes. Attempts had been made to remedy this inconvenience by only using the
Switched off the low-pressure side, but still let the high-pressure cylinder deliver air,
which was compressed in one stage from external pressure to maximum pressure. Even though
the air delivery was rigidly reduced here, but was the one expended for this
Work to be counted as a loss and also because of the blowing off of the collecting container
noisy. In the device according to the invention, the air supply is lossy
canceled because the enlarged harmful space of the high pressure cylinder at the end
of the pressure stroke contains so much and so highly compressed compressed air that it during
of the piston return cannot expand back below the suction pressure. To this
The force used in the single-stage compression in the high-pressure chamber becomes wise
recovered almost completely, while the compressor works smoothly and none
Air supplies.
The increased harmful space of the high pressure cylinder exercises while working
as a stage compressor no adverse effect if the space available
of the two cylinders are selected accordingly.
wirkenden Stufenkompressors schematisch dargestellt. In the drawing are two embodiments of the new, simple
acting stage compressor shown schematically.

Z shows the longitudinal section through a compressor with a medium low-pressure cylinder a and the I-pressure ring cylinder b and FIG. 2 shows the longitudinal section through a compressor with a low-pressure cylinder a. and the middle high-pressure cylinder b '. In both cases, the usual, very small harmful space c or c' is provided for the low-pressure cylinder a or a 'and the enlarged harmful space d or d' is provided for the high-pressure cylinder, so that the real The internal length of the high pressure cylinder is dc or d'-c 'greater than that of the low pressure cylinder. It is not necessary to drive the compression in the high pressure cylinder exactly to the maximum pressure during idling. After complete expansion of the air of the enlarged harmful space causes for the end the suction stroke the particularly effective mass deceleration of the piston with stationary compressors in connection with the piston and drive rod weight moved downwards the further maintenance of the bearing load, although a certain amount of air can be delivered, even if only in extremely small quantities.
