Abstract

A paper insertion device for a printer (1) has a central deflection roller (2), above which there are arranged a printing abutment (3) and a laterally movable print head carriage (5) with a print head (4), paper guide channels (9, 10) being constructed on the central deflection roller (2) for individual sheets from an individual sheet shaft (25) with a set of separation rollers (26), and there being provided a tractor device (15) working in thrust operation.
