In solchen Fällen wird eine bessere Leistung der Räder erzielt, wenn die Räder so geneigt werden, daß ihre Ebene wieder senkrecht zur Windrichtung steht. Es kann auch vorkommen, daß bei den großen Abmessungen der Räder die oberen Luftschichten eine größere Geschwindigkeit haben oder umgekehrt und daß die Räder dann nicht mehr gleichmäßig durch Wind belastet sind.
