Der Gegenstand der Erfindung dürfte diesen Anforderungen in jeder Beziehung gerecht werden, indem er die erwähnten Nachteile beseitigt. Es handelt sich um eine Registriervorrichtung für Schriftstücke u. dgl.., bei der die Sammelbehälter in einem Schranke an endlosen über Räder geführten Ketten so befestigt sind, daß sie nacheinander vor eine Entnahmeöffnung in der Schrankwand gebracht werden, und zwar so, daß jedem Sammelbehälter für die Schriftstücke ein Behälter an der endlosen Kette zu gemeinsamer Bewegung zugeordnet ist, der zur Aufnahme von Schalttafeln mit den Schriftstücken des Sammelbehälters entsprechenden elektrischen Leitungssystemen dient. An der Vorderseite der Schalttafeln und den beiden anschließenden Seiten sind Kontakte angebracht, die mit an den entsprechenden Seiten des Schrankes in der Nähe der Entnahmeöffnung angeordneten Kontaktvorrichtungen bei dem Drehen der Registriervorrichtung in Berührung gebracht werden können, und zwar so, daß je nach dem auf den Schalttafeln mittels Steckkontakten für ein bestimmtes Schriftstück vollzogenen Schaltzustand eine an der Schrankwand angebrachte Signallampe aufleuchtet, wobei die das Signal auslösende Schalttafel auf die entsprechende Mappe hindeutet. Dreht man das Antriebsrad 13, so wird die Drehbewegung desselben auf die Zahnscheiben 4, 4' übertragen, die endlose Kette 7 wird in Bewegung gesetzt, so daß jeder der Behälter 9 an die Türöffnung 14 gebracht werden kann, wobei Mittel zum Festhalten der Behälter vor der Tür vorhanden sind (in der Zeichnung nicht eingezeichnet). Die Behälter 9 sind mit Scharnieren 15 und nach unten klappbaren Türen 16 sowie Schlössern 17 versehen. In den Behältern 9 finden Schiebladen 18 Platz," weiche aus der Türöffnung 14 herausgezogen werden können. Kastenanlagen gemäß vorliegender Erfindung sind rationell, da sie beliebig hoch in senkrechter oder tief in waagerechter Stellung gebaut werden können, so daß z. Von den Nockenkontakten α bis k und w sowie von Kontaktlöchern 24 aus führen je eine Leitung zur rechten bzw. linken Seite (Fig. 5, punktierte Linien) sowie von den Nockenkontakten I bis v' je zwei Leitungen senkrecht zur vorgenannten Richtung, wovon jeweils die Hnken Leitungen Γ bis v' an den negativen Pol angeschlossen sind (Fig. 5, gestrichelte Linien). Das Ganze ist derart, daß die genannten, einander rechtwinklig kreuzenden Leitungen voneinander isoliert sind, mit Ausnähme der Stellen, wo sich die Leitungen kreuzen. An diesen Kreuzungsstellen sind Steckkontakte 25 angeordnet, so daß mittels Steckern, die nicht besonders dargestellt wurden, 110 verschiedene Stromkreise je Schalttafel hergestellt werden können. Nach Fig. 6 liegen die Schalttafeln gemäß Fig. 4 auf Trägern 26 übereinander in seitlich und vorn geöffneten Behältern 9, von denen sich je einer zwischen zwei Behältern 9 für die So Mappen befindet, dabei sind die Schalttafeln blockiert. Letztere können gemäß Fig. 3 jede einzeln für sich aus der Türöffnung 14 herausgezogen und ersetzt werden, so daß es möglich ist, je nach Bedarf mittels Stecker neue Stromkreise auf den Schalttafeln zu bilden oder solche durch Entfernung derselben zu unterbrechen. In der erwähnten übereinanderliegenden Stellung können die Schalttafeln mit den Kontaktvorrichtungen 28, 28', 29, 30 und 30' in Berührung gebracht werden, und zwar sind letztere derart oberhalb der Türöffnung 14 längs- und breitseitig an den Kastenwänden des Schrankraumes angeordnet, daß sie gemäß Fig. 7 und 8 mittels Gleitstück 31 auf den Schienen 32, 32' und 32" in Führungsscnlitz 33 beliebig verstellt und je auf der Höhe der Nockenkontakte festgeklemmt werden können. Zu diesem Zweck ist auf dem Gleitstück 31 der Steckbolzen 34 10c vorgesehen, welcher sich durch stetige Druckwirkung der Feder 35 in die auf den Schienen 32, 32' und 32" vorgesehenen Einkerbungen drängt. Der Strom führt durch die Schienen 32 und 32", wird vom Verbindungskabel 36 aufgenommen und auf die Kontaktrolle 37 geleitet. Die Kontaktrolle 37 ist auf dem Arm 38 gelagert, welch letzterer seinerseits am Gleitstück 31 mittels Scharnier 39 befestigt ist, wobei ihn die Druckfeder 40 in leicht federnder Haltung hält. Diese Kontaktvorrichtung 29 besitzt eine zweiteilige Kontaktrolle 41, und zwar mit Polen 42 und 43, die dazu dienen, den positiven und negativen Strom je nach den auf den Schalttafeln geschlossenen Stromkreisen, jeder Strom vom andern isoliert, aufzunehmen und im Wege der Verbindungskabel 44, 44' auf die Schiene 32' zur Signallampe 45 zu führen.
