Dieser Nachteil sollte durch Zylinderwickel beseitigt werden. Um diesem Wickel aber die notwendige Festigkeit zu geben, insbesondere auch, um das Zusammenfallen der inneren Lagen zu vermeiden, muß der Wickel auf ein zentrales Rohr aufgewickelt werden, was wieder, z. B. mit Bezug auf die Befestigung der Metallbelegung und der Papierbänder auf dem Rohr, fabrikatorische Schwierigkeiten bereitet.
