Apparatus for Taking Natural Color Images The invention relates to
a device for taking three-color images. It has been suggested
for designing several identical images in one plane by splitting the beam path
through partially covered mirrors and further reflection of the partial beam paths for each image
two reflective surfaces should be provided: parallel to a straight line that is perpendicular to
the incident central ray, the mirrors of the first are to be divided
serving group; that of the second, which is used for further reflection in the lenses
lie parallel to the incident central ray and cross each other in space
the other mirror of the pair assigned to each partial image. The arrangement causes
that the center points of the pictures are on a straight line, but offset from one another
lie so that the distances between the image centers are greater than in the position of the
Image centers on a straight line parallel to the image edges.
The device according to the invention allows the image centers
to move further apart and thereby the light output of the receiving device
to increase even further.
This is achieved in that in a device which is divided into three
-of the beam path, the two mirrors assigned to the middle image
be arranged perpendicular to their neighbors. The middle mirror of the first (thing-sided,
The group serving for decomposition retains its point of intersection with the incident
Central beam at; but since it is opposite to the partial central ray assigned to the central image
the direction of the sub-middle strable of the two outer images must
the second (image-side, used for further reflection) mirror for the central image
on the other side of the original central ray.
K geworfen. The figure shows the device according to the invention as a schematic diagram: the central beam of the beam path intended for imaging, running from A to the left in the plane of the drawing, hits a reflective surface b in B; a part is bent upwards at right angles and reflected in C through the mirror c into the objective, which is indicated by the circle D; the part of the central ray let through by b hits a further mirror e in E, which reflects a part vertically downwards; This part is thrown in F through the mirror f towards the objective G, the remainder let through by e is bent upwards again in H through the mirror h and thrown into the objective K in I through the mirror i.
The effect of the mirror arrangement according to the invention is that the center points of the images move apart considerably without the overall width of the image band having to be increased for this purpose. The two outer images, represented by the rectangles L and N, are not only offset from one another, but are separated by a wide gap; the middle one, M, lies a considerable distance away on the other side of the central ray. This image position allows the use of large lens diameters, ie the use of long focal lengths with large effective openings. With this arrangement, the images are rotated at a right angle from the usual upright position, and the central image is rotated by 180 degrees from the two outer images - an image position that is particularly favorable for the identical and in-phase exposure of the three images through circumferential sector shutters .
