Da namentlich kleineren Kindern das erforderliche Geschick fehlt, sind auch Kreisel mit besonderen mechanischen Aufziehvorrichtungen eingeführt worden. Aber auch die Handhabung mit diesen mechanischen Aufziehvorrichtungen ist kleineren Kindern erschwert, weil ein großer Kraftaufwand und auch eine gewisse Geschicklichkeit erforderlich ist.
